![]() Meet the authorJoy Jobbins officially launched her memoir, “Shoestring” with two talks at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, in September and November of 2007. She recounted her journey from an idyllic childhood growing up in Bondi during the 1930’s through to raising a large family while ‘tycooning’ in the male dominated world of fashion advertising during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. Joy is available to give her Powerhouse talk at other events, with stories that are rich in humour and experience, and include her time working with some of the most impressive graphic and photographic talents in Australia.
